I think we're supposed to post a new entry once a week... Key word is think... When does the new week start though...
This is a bad time for an update mostly due to the fact that blogger is running really slowly... either that or my sister is hogging up the bandwidth downloading episodes of the Gilmore Girls... teenagers!
Anyways since we're making a new website in this course I'm starting my research on how to make an effective website. http://www.oneweb.com/maxm/10steps.html is one of the millions of articles on the net about how to make an effective website. And of course there are several mentions to the word of the day "interactivity"... hmm that word is also in the name of the course. Oh nevermind that last bit I checked the course is not called interactivity I think it's called interaction something something... same stuff.

CSS

ITM530's first class was all about CSS.
Now, I have used CSS before most notably in 525 and 445, but those were for the typical purposes. I have always used CSS for formatting. It's fast and effective and ensures that all your page elements are uniform. Anyways I never used it for a substitute for tables. In class I thought it was a difficult process, but I went through a tutorial today and it's not so bad.
